NHP students show school spirit at the senior high spring pep rally.

On Wednesday, March 27, New Hyde Park Memorial High School senior high students came together and attended a pep rally to celebrate spring sports. This pep rally was the last that the seniors at New Hyde Park attended, and allowed student-athletes to create memories together in the gym one last time.

Hey! My name is Abhiveer Singh, and I’m currently a senior. Being an editor for The Chariot has been an amazing experience. I am so grateful for the Chariot because I was able to learn so much about what it takes to make a newspaper work and collaborate with so many wonderful people. I love playing basketball, watching shows, and reading occasionally.

Hi! My name is Fiona, and I am a senior and co-Editor-in-Chief of The Chariot. I joined The Chariot due to my love for writing, but I have stayed due to my newfound passion for the behind-the-scenes process of this publication. Outside of the walls of room 117 where most of my writing and editing takes place, I am highly involved around the school in Model UN and Student Council, and outside of NHP Memorial, I love to try new foods, see live music, and travel. Next year, I will be attending the University of Virginia and pursuing a major of Foreign Affairs (for now… I am indecisive).
