“My favorite song from the GUTS album is ‘Teenage Dream.’ I feel like most of her songs are about heartbreak, and hearing one that was something other than feeling miserable about love was very refreshing. Plus, some of her songs are overplayed, like ‘Vampire.’ I believe ‘Teenage Dream’ is underrated, just as many of her other songs are,” senior Lauren Yip said.
“Two of my favorites are the songs ‘Logical’ and ‘Vampire.’ They are both very passionate,” science teacher Ms. Bianco said. “I do not think her songs are overplayed. More of the album should be played on the radio, though.”
In addition to the remarkable music produced by Rodrigo, the GUTS Tour is also known for its breathtaking visual elements. “I went to the GUTS World Tour,” eighth grader Simona Micich said. “There are tons of effects like rising platforms and flashy lights. The visuals make the concert feel way more intense, almost like you’re stepping inside Olivia’s mind. It helps tell the story of each song.”
