ENHYPEN originally debuted in 2020, through the survival show “I-LAND,” forming a seven-member boy band. Heeseung served as ENHYPEN’s main vocalist, and was one of the most experienced trainees. Being the oldest member, he was often seen as a core musical leader within the group, and was a mentor to the younger members.

“Their whole concept is that they are the ‘seven vampires.’ All the younger members rely on Heeseung too, and I remember all the fun, silly moments they had together. I can’t believe he left,” sophomore Catherine George said.
“I believe this situation shows us a hidden side of the music industry. Losing a primary singer can also really affect the overall sound and music quality. In the end, we should just wish them the best no matter what happens,” music teacher Mr. McLeer said.
